Pinkerton, who started the company to provide clients with an experienced alternative for managing employment issues—like payroll services, risk management, and employee benefits—freeing them to concentrate on other aspects of their businesses. Prior to PES, Brent owned and operated a property and casualty insurance agency for 15 years, and spent 10 years as an investment broker and financial advisor.

Brent is a lifelong resident of Venice, FL where he lives with his wife and three children. For the past 20 years he has dedicated his time and resources to numerous non-profit agencies in his community, including the United Way of South Sarasota County, where he has chaired the annual charity golf tournament for the past 14 years. He is presently finance chair for the board of the Loveland Center of Venice and is in his 10th year of coaching youth sports for the South County Family YMCA and Venice Little League. Brent also enjoys mentoring high school boys in a weekly Bible study held in his home.
